Crime Thriller Girl (aka Steph Broadribb aka Stephanie Marland) leads a triple life …

By day I’m a corporate suit, but by night (and early morning) I’m a writer, avid reader, and book reviewer of all things crime thriller.

My debut novel as Steph Broadribb – DEEP DOWN DEAD – came out in paperback on 5th January 2017 published by Orenda Books. The second book in the Lori Anderson series – DEEP BLUE TROUBLE – will be out in eBook at the end of 2017 and paperback in January 2018.

My first novel as Stephanie Marland – MY LITTLE EYE – will come out in eBook in November 2017 and March 2018 as a paperback with Trapeze Books (Orion).

I’m repped by Oli Munson at AM Heath.

I was born in Birmingham and grew up in Buckinghamshire. Most of my working life has been spent between the UK and USA. I’m an alumni of the MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) at City University London, and trained as a bounty hunter in California. Currently, I live in Buckinghamshire surrounded by horses, cows and chickens.

PLEASE NOTE: due to my own writing commitments I’m not signing up for blog tours and reviews at the moment. I’m still reading, and I’ll be doing reviews and interviews when I can fit them in, but I’m not accepting new books for review.

Hi, CTG – you’ve got a fun blog. I’ll enjoy following. Thanks for finding mine, too, and for joining up. You’re an early adopter – always appreciated. Crime’s my particular bag, although I try not to be too biased – my mind is just naturally devious, I fear.
A corporate suit? Me too, in my former life. Am longing to know more, of course.

    Hi.
I’ve been following you on Twitter for a few months and thought it was about time I visited here. You’ve reviewed some excellent looking books that I’ve shared on Twitter and my Pinterest boards.
Thanks for letting us all know about some great books.

    Mark.

Thanks for the follow, Steph! With Harry Bingham’s consent, I am trying to resurrect MEAN STREETS with as many original reviewers as I can contact. As you have your own review blog, you won’t, I don’t think, have time to submit any new stuff, but hopefully you’ll allow me to upload any that you recommend from your own blog. This should give both sites more exposure, both for reviews and your own writing. Any suggestions will be most useful. It is not really off the ground, yet, but it is located at http://www.bookpostmortem.wordpress.com. Have a peek…

    Hi Stephanie,
I was wondering if you might have to time to go over a few ideas with me???? I work for your father and Donna. Donna suggested that I speak with you. You can email me anytime.
    Thanks,
    Carolyn

Hi there, Juliana here from Premier, a PR company based in London. I am currently working on James Patterson’s new thriller novel Murder House (out 24th September) and was wondering if you would be interested in taking part in some PR activity for it? Please do get in touch and I will be able to send you further info. Many thanks, Juliana.

The time has come, the blogger said,
to Review some books and things.
You show me yours, I’ll show you mine,
to help Deep Down Dead take wings.

As an ex-MEAN STREETS reviewer, care to swap reviews, Steph?
